What is medical imaging?
This term, often also referred to as image-based diagnostics, is based on modern technological solutions from the field of so-called medical informatics. They are used to create images of disease changes occurring in the human body. Their most important task is therefore visualisation, but imaging diagnostics is also:
- qualitative analysis related to the collection of patient health data,
- search for various lesions and organ or body injuries,
- carrying out screening tests.
In the past, films and X-ray film were used to display graphic diagnostic results. Today, monitors replace them in most installations. However, imaging is not only about screens. Other important solutions, which our company also offers, include

Medical monitors

Diagnostic medical stations
These are specialised computers used for both diagnostics and examination description. Medical projectors with DICOM mode
These devices are widely used to display images from X-ray, CT and MRI examinations, among others. They are specialised medical projectors compliant with the DICOM standard, and therefore accurately display greyscale images. The precise reproduction of these files and the high resolution facilitate consultations or examination presentations.
What’s more, the imaging solutions we offer are equipment that is also useful during training sessions. Projectors with DICOM mode have extensive screen calibration options. This means that the colours and brightness of the image can be adjusted for a specific room, such as a training room for doctors.
X-ray detectors
This is another very important piece of equipment for doctors, which allows for even more effective medical imaging. These solutions use digital radiology technology. Compared to classical equipment, the film with the film or phosphor cartridge is replaced by a DR detector. Exposed to X-rays, it generates an image and then immediately transmits it to a computer.
