Introduced in September 2020, the PegasusPro Series is the first storage solution on the market to address the incompatibility of direct-attached block access storage (DAS) and file-based network-attached storage (NAS). This makes it easier for users to convert, collaborate and transfer data at very high speeds.

The latest version supports APFS and NTFS file systems, giving Mac and Windows users flexible access to their data.
An enhanced version of PROMISE Utility Pro, the PegasusPro monitoring and administration tool, introduces one-click upgrade capabilities to the latest versions. FileBoost technology provides users with new features such as synchronisation policy options, real-time folder status updates, automatic folder refreshes and more. These enhancements increase user efficiency and productivity.
The new PROMISE Utility Pro version also supports older versions of the Pegasus series, including the Pegasus3, Pegasus32, R4i product lines. macOS users will receive support for macOS 10.15 (Catalina), 11 (Big Sur) and newer versions.
PegasusPro joins an entire portfolio of PROMISE solutions optimised for multimedia processing that already includes devices such as the Pegasus32 series, PegasusR4i and J2i internal storage, as well as the VTrak J5960 „Green JBOD”.
All of these products enable single and multiple users to access, edit, share and archive 4K, 8K or even 16K-quality content essential for post-production and publishing of rich multimedia content by radio and TV stations, photo studios, music labels, sports organisations, educational institutions, research institutes and many more.
